Our Mission & Vision:

South Hills is a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) community who believes God is calling us to demonstrate true community and deep spirituality through seeking wisdom, and embodying forgiveness, reconciliation, justice, generosity and hope.

South Hills Christian Church has a strong commitment to our community. We believe all ministry is working together, in community, and being in relationship with all peoples. This ministry takes shape in many different ways whether it's through worship and learning opportunities to help deepen our spiritual life or coming together to serve those around us.

Who We are:

We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.

We believe God is calling our church to demonstrate true community and deep spirituality, seek wisdom, and embody forgiveness, reconciliation, justice, generosity and hope (South Hills Christian Church Vision Statement)

What We Believe:

We think that having  a diversity of beliefs, and understanding is central to who we are as community. This helps us to grow stronger together, with the unique ability to see things from many different sides.

Worship:

Here at South Hills we celebrate communion each week. It is central to who we are as Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and it is a shared meal that reminds us that together at table we are all one. All are welcome to participate fully in our worship services no matter your age, ability, or understanding there is always a place for you here.

Baptism:

Our tradition is to baptize by immersion and embrace those who have been baptized in other traditions. Feel free to speak with one of our ministerial staff for more discussion on baptism.

Ecumenical partnerships:

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) seeks to cooperate with other faith and community organizations to serve all of humankind.
